United We Stand /

The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything ― Albert Einstein

I made a promise to myself  to live a little more out loud. I feel now more than ever a responsibility to elevate, educate, and support the people around me. I also realize love needs to be shared now more than ever. I shared my life on MTV starting in 2002 at the age of 19 and continued for many years – I never thought 15 years later it would be even more important for us all to continue to live out loud.

I remember when I was in College with no health insurance, I needed my yearly – Planned Parenthood was affordable, accessible, and there for me when I needed them. I am only one of the millions of women that Planned Parenthood has helped along the way. This is why I have chosen since I can not be at the Women’s March in Washington D.C. on the 21st, to donate what the cost of my airfare would have been to –  https://www.plannedparenthood.org. I encourage any one that can make it to be a part of this day in history. Where women and men will get together and say our rights and healthcare matter.

For those who can not be there find out what is going on locally, donate to a worthy cause, and get involved.

For the like minded people who read this blog, I am posting this event happening in Miami. I encourage anyone who stands up to misogyny, racism, elitism to join and see the power in numbers and what we can do together.

I will be at the South Florida Rally and encourage everyone woman and man to come, join, and stand with me. It is now more important than ever that we find a way to mobilize, organize,  be heard, and create change in intelligent ways.

I believe in equal rights, education, and opportunities for all women and men no matter your social class, background, sexual orientation, or religion.  Be a good person, respect and love people, animals, and nature.

Everyone deserves an equal opportunity at a good life, their own life, living their own way.

Let’s stand together.
